ETG Week 3: RSS Feeds

This week we’re doing RSS.  I was already a Bloglines user, so no change there, though after reading Gina Trapani’s article, I think I’d like to switch to Google Reader

The exercise also got me into a few minor frenzies of feed-adding, and I didn’t know I could group my feeds into folders. Now the list doesn’t look so daunting when I visit Bloglines, and it’s a good way of prioritizing, too.

hello world!

Hi, I’m Nora, and I’m a liaison/reference/instruction librarian in Mills Memorial Library, the social sciences and humanities library at McMaster University, Hamilton Ontario, Canada. Being an academic librarian is pretty much non-stop fun. I mean it. And one of the fun things about it is that setting up this, my first blog, is part of my job.
