A question with no answer yet:

    * I’m using a Macbook with a peripheral keyboard. Is there any way to use the “end” key to navigate to the end of a line of text when composing in Word, Mail, etc.?

Answer -
To navigate to the end of a line, hold CMD key and press right arrow key. This will get you to the end of the line.
All the best!

I have the same issue, except that when I try to delete the file/folder on the USB drive, I am asked for my password. When I put it in, the file doesn't go anywhere. It stays on the USB drive and doesn't move in to the trash.
